Adds Section 39 to Article I of the North Carolina Constitution establishing a constitutional "right to work" as part of the right to live, protected from undue restraints and coercion.

Prohibits employers from requiring employees to join or remain members of labor organizations as a condition of employment or continued employment.

Prohibits employers from requiring employees to pay dues, fees, or other charges to labor organizations as a condition of employment.

Prohibits employers from requiring employees to abstain or refrain from labor organization membership as a condition of employment.

Submits the amendment to qualified voters in a statewide election on November 5, 2024; becomes effective upon State Board of Elections certification if approved by majority vote.
