Creates a new Montessori teaching license class in North Carolina allowing educators to teach exclusively in Montessori schools using Montessori instruction as the primary method.

Requires applicants to hold a valid credential from the American Montessori Society, Association Montessori Internationale, or a program accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education.

Requires applicants to hold a bachelor's degree in any field and complete any examination requirements adopted by the State Board.

Restricts Montessori license holders from teaching in public schools that are not Montessori schools unless they also hold another state-issued public school teaching license.

Becomes effective upon enactment and applies to applicants for Montessori licenses on or after that date.
