Annexes seven tracts of property in First Township, Chowan County to the corporate limits of the Town of Edenton, totaling approximately 194.09 acres.

Tract I comprises 141.83 acres per survey dated June 3, 2022; Tracts II-VII comprise additional parcels ranging from 1.13 to 19.06 acres per surveys dated between October 5, 2021 and January 27, 2022.

All property parcels are identified by specific plat cabinet references in the Chowan County Registry and surveyed by Josiah A. Webb, III, Professional Land Surveyor.

Act becomes effective June 30, 2024, with annexed property subject to municipal taxes for taxable years beginning on or after July 1, 2024.
