Reduces General Court of Justice support fees in criminal cases from $147.50 to $125.00 in district court and from $154.50 to $130.00 in superior court, effective October 1, 2024.

Eliminates the $20.00 one-time setup fee for defendants using installment payment plans for court costs, effective October 1, 2024.

Removes all court costs for rear seat occupants cited for failing to wear a seat belt, reducing their penalty to $10.00 with no additional court fees, effective October 1, 2024.

Eliminates court costs previously assessed for front seat passengers failing to wear a seat belt, leaving only the $25.50 penalty, effective October 1, 2024.

Allows community service program fees of $250.00 to be waived using the same requirements and procedures for waiving court costs under existing law, effective October 1, 2024.
