Amends North Carolina General Statute 14-159.13 to add a new provision to second degree trespass law creating three distinct categories of trespass offenses.

Establishes that entering or remaining on the curtilage of a dwelling between midnight and 6:00 A.M. constitutes second degree trespass, classified as a Class 2 misdemeanor.

Maintains existing trespass provisions for entering premises after being notified by owner or authorized person (Class 3 misdemeanor) and entering posted premises (Class 3 misdemeanor).

Creates differentiated penalties with nighttime curtilage violations treated more severely as Class 2 misdemeanors compared to Class 3 misdemeanors for other trespass violations.

Becomes effective December 1, 2023, and applies to offenses committed on or after that date.
