Adds new subsection (b1) to G.S. 160D-703 prohibiting local governments from imposing a "harmony requirement" for permit development approval on parcels where multifamily structures are an allowable use if at least 10% of residential units are affordable housing.

Defines affordable housing units as those for families or individuals with incomes below 80% of the area median income.

Applies exclusively to the Town of Huntersville.

Becomes effective upon enactment and applies to permit approvals submitted on or after the effective date.
