Directs the Department of Health and Human Services to establish and coordinate research programs on uterine fibroids, with special emphasis on racial and ethnic minority groups disproportionately affected by the condition.

Requires collection of data on items and services furnished to women receiving Medicaid and state-funded healthcare services diagnosed with uterine fibroids to assess treatment frequency.

Mandates annual development and distribution of current uterine fibroid information to healthcare providers, including elevated risk factors for minority women and non-hysterectomy treatment options.

Requires annual reporting to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services beginning April 1, 2024 on research and education activities undertaken.

Appropriates $500,000 in recurring funds for fiscal year 2023-2024 and $500,000 in recurring funds for fiscal year 2024-2025 to conduct required research and education activities; becomes effective October 1, 2023.
