Allows foreclosure sales to be conducted at designated public locations within the county (or counties) where the property is situated, in addition to courthouse doors.

Expands the time allowed for a scheduled foreclosure sale to commence from one hour to three hours after the designated time, unless delayed by other sales at the same location.

Permits persons exercising power of sale or their agents to accept remote bids from bidders not physically present at the sale location, with all bids clearly announced to all participating bidders.

Requires collection of all funds required from winning bidders prior to accepting remote bids in accordance with existing law (G.S. 45-21.10).

Prohibits charges related to remote bidding from being chargeable to the mortgagor or recoverable as foreclosure costs and expenses.
