The Legislative Library must send a request to all active boards, committees, and commissions requiring documentation including current membership, recent meeting minutes, bylaws, and reporting requirements.

Any board, committee, or commission that fails to respond within 120 days or responds but has not met in the previous 12 months will be added to a list for potential repeal.

The Joint Legislative Administrative Procedure Oversight Committee will receive the compiled list and must recommend legislation to repeal the identified inactive boards and commissions.

The Committee must submit repeal recommendations to the 2024 Regular Session of the General Assembly upon its convening.

The act becomes effective upon passage into law.
