Amends G.S. 160D-107 to modify requirements for local governments renewing or extending development moratoria related to Department of Transportation projects.

For transportation project moratoria renewals or extensions, allows ordinances to substitute current project status and completion timeline information in place of the standard statement of proposed actions and schedules.

Maintains existing requirements that moratorium renewals or extensions must demonstrate local government took reasonable and feasible steps to address the original problems and that new facts or conditions warrant the extension.

Applies to moratorium renewal and extension ordinances adopted on or after the bill becomes law.
