Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Benefits shall set reimbursement rates for new services at ambulatory surgical centers at 95% of the Medicare Ambulatory Surgical Centers fee schedule, effective January 1 of each year.

Services billed under procedure code G0330 (dental services provided in surgery centers) shall be reimbursed at 95% of the Medicare Part B Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) rate effective July 1, 2023, with annual updates each January 1.

Reimbursement for procedure code G0330 services shall not be based solely on procedure length, and all standard benefit plans and BH IDD tailored plans must cover these surgical procedures.

$500,000 in recurring General Fund appropriations for fiscal years 2023-2025, paired with $950,000 in recurring federal funds annually, shall be provided to the Division of Health Benefits to implement this act.

Act becomes effective upon enactment.
