NC S61

Adds new section 99C-6 to North Carolina General Statutes providing civil liability immunity for ski patrol members acting in their official capacity, including emergency care.

Defines ski patrol members as registered members of the National Ski Patrol who serve without compensation (wages, salary, commission, or bonuses).

Immunity does not apply if the ski patrol member's act or omission involves reckless, wanton, or intentional misconduct.

Allows ski patrol members to receive discounted or free food, beverages, clothing, passes, and other incidental benefits without losing eligibility for immunity.

Becomes effective October 1, 2023, and applies to acts or omissions occurring on or after that date.
