Requires a five-day cancellation period for roofing contracts before collecting payments from insurance proceeds, with an exception for emergency services acknowledged in writing by the insured.

Prohibits roofing contractors from representing or negotiating insurance claims on behalf of property owners, with an exception for licensed public adjusters.

Violations constitute unfair and deceptive trade practices; violations of deductible payment prohibitions and insurance claim negotiations are Class 1 misdemeanors, effective 90 days after enactment.
