Realigns trustee board terms for Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, Blue Ridge Community College, Davidson-Davie Community College, Southwestern Community College, and Tri-County Community College to create staggered expiration dates.

For Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, one Madison County-elected trustee receives a one-year term expiring June 30, 2026.

For Blue Ridge Community College, adjusts Henderson County commissioner and board of education-elected trustee terms to three years, with staggered expiration dates through June 30, 2030.

For Davidson-Davie and Southwestern Community Colleges, establishes varying term lengths (one to four years) for trustees elected or appointed by county boards and the General Assembly to stagger expiration dates.

Establishes that future successors to trustees serving terms of less than four years shall serve four-year terms beginning July 1 and every four years thereafter.
