Requires health insurance plans to provide coverage for diagnostic and supplemental breast cancer examinations (including breast MRI and ultrasound) with cost-sharing no less favorable than screening mammography coverage.

Defines diagnostic examinations as healthcare provider-determined medically necessary exams to evaluate breast abnormalities seen on screening or detected by other means.

Defines supplemental examinations as optional screenings for patients at increased breast cancer risk or with dense breast tissue, including breast MRI or ultrasound.

Requires all mammography facilities to include individual breast density classification in patient reports and provide standardized notices about dense breast tissue and supplemental screening options.

Appropriates $900,000 to the State Treasurer for fiscal year 2024-2025 for State Health Plan compliance and $100,000 to the Department of Health and Human Services to educate healthcare providers about coverage changes and notification requirements.
