Appropriates $2 million in recurring funds for fiscal year 2025-2026 and $2 million for fiscal year 2026-2027 from the General Fund to the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health

Establishes a statewide Prostate Cancer Control Program providing free or low-cost prostate cancer screenings and follow-up care

Eligibility requires men to be uninsured or underinsured and not enrolled in Medicare Part B or Medicaid, with household income below 250% of the federal poverty level

Age eligibility is 50-70 years old for men without family history of prostate cancer, or 40-70 years old for men with family history (defined as having a first-degree relative diagnosed with, developed, or died from prostate cancer, or with associated cancers or genetic alterations)

Effective date: July 1, 2025
