Amends Rule 27 of the NC House temporary rules to reorganize and consolidate the list of standing committees

Eliminates several standalone committees including: Appropriations Information Technology, Banking, Disaster Recovery and Homeland Security, Environment, Families Children and Aging Policy, Local Government (both general and Land Use), Marine Resources and Aquaculture, Military and Veterans Affairs, Redistricting, State Personnel, UNC Board of Governors Nominations, and Unemployment Insurance

Creates new consolidated committees including: Appropriations Capital and Information Technology, Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery, Higher Education, Homeland Security and Military and Veterans Affairs, and Housing and Development

Renames several committees, such as changing "Election Law and Campaign Finance Reform" to "Election Law" and "Oversight and Reform" to "Oversight"

Adopted by the House on January 29, 2025, effective immediately upon adoption
