Authorizes Pender County Schools to align their school calendar with Cape Fear Community College's calendar, bypassing standard state opening and closing date requirements

Amends G.S. 115C-84.2(d) to allow local boards of education to match their calendars with community colleges serving their city or county

Current state law generally requires public schools to open no earlier than the Monday closest to August 26 and close no later than the Friday closest to June 11

Applies exclusively to Pender County Schools as a local bill

Takes effect upon becoming law and applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year
