Defendants must file a motion to retrieve firearms within 90 days after the protective order expires or pending criminal charges against the protected person are resolved

Third-party firearm owners may request return of seized weapons at any time before disposal, eliminating the previous 30-day filing deadline

Sheriffs may dispose of firearms if no retrieval motion is filed within 90 days, if the court finds the owner is legally prohibited from possessing firearms, or if storage fees remain unpaid for 30 days

Contents of 911 calls made by callers under 18 years of age are made confidential and exempt from public records disclosure, effective immediately upon enactment
