Authorizes the City of Durham and Durham County to adopt ordinances allowing electronic notice (including website postings) for public hearings required under Chapter 160D (land-use and development regulations)

Electronic notices may be provided through joint planning boards created under Chapter 160A, Part 1 of Article 20

Does not override existing state requirements for mailed notices to certain individuals or posted signs on specific properties

Does not change the publication schedule or timing requirements for any public notices

Effective immediately upon becoming law and applies only to Durham City and Durham County
