NC Department of Transportation must survey and install new right-of-way and permanent easement corner markers using metal stakes or materials of comparable permanence after completing projects that required property acquisition

Corner markers must be installed at all property boundary intersections along right-of-way or permanent easements acquired by the Department

Installation must follow general surveying standards and procedures, with markers tied to the NC State Plane Coordinate system or design alignment using bearings/distances or station/offset

Applies to DOT projects initiated on or after the effective date that require right-of-way or permanent easement acquisition
