Removes 11 specific parcels identified by Brunswick County Tax Office parcel numbers from the corporate limits of the Town of Oak Island

Preserves the validity of any existing Town of Oak Island liens for ad valorem taxes or special assessments that were outstanding before the effective date

Allows the town to continue collecting or foreclosing on pre-existing tax liens as if the properties were still within town limits

Takes effect June 30, 2025, with properties exempt from municipal taxes for taxable years beginning on or after July 1, 2025
