Increases monthly pension benefit for NC Firefighters' and Rescue Squad Workers' Pension Fund from $175 to $180, effective January 1, 2026

Consolidates and clarifies pension fund membership payment requirements into a new statute (G.S. 58-86-41), maintaining the $15/month contribution for up to 20 years

Members with line-of-duty disabilities are exempt from monthly contribution requirements; members with non-duty disabilities who have at least 10 years of service may continue contributing until reaching 240 months total

Adds one representative from the North Carolina State Firefighters' Association to the 25-member NC Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council, replacing one of the general public appointment slots

Pension benefit changes apply to payments made on or after January 1, 2026; EMS Advisory Council changes take effect when the bill becomes law
