Directs the Department of Public Instruction to study how parental involvement policies may reduce recurring student disciplinary infractions, including requirements for parent-school meetings, parent counseling, and joint parent-student counseling as conditions for classroom return

Requires evaluation of remote instruction as an alternative to classroom return after disciplinary removal, including assessment of social and academic impacts

Excludes students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Behavioral plans from the study and any resulting recommendations

Authorizes DPI to partner with a third-party organization and requires a report with recommendations, including proposed legislation, to the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee by April 15, 2026

Appropriates $25,000 in nonrecurring General Fund money to DPI for fiscal year 2025-2026 to conduct the study, effective July 1, 2025
