Requires original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of medical imaging equipment (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography) and radiation therapy equipment to provide hospitals and independent repair providers access to support documentation, tools, and parts necessary for diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services.

OEMs must provide support documentation at no charge and tools without requiring authorization or registration; OEMs may only charge actual costs for printing, shipping, or preparing physical items.

Parts must be made available to independent repair providers at the same costs and terms as the most favorable agreement between the OEM and any authorized repair provider.

OEMs must offer training courses and materials on equipment operation, inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair to owners and independent repair providers if such training is offered to authorized repair providers.

Violations constitute unfair or deceptive trade practices enforceable by injured parties and the Attorney General; OEMs are not required to divulge trade secrets and are not liable for damage or injury occurring during independent repairs. Effective July 1, 2025.
