Requires every public school in North Carolina to employ at least one full-time, permanent school nurse beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Applies to all public school types including local school districts, charter schools, regional schools, and laboratory schools

Appropriates $95 million in recurring funds from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction to increase the School Health Personnel Allotment

State funding must supplement, not replace, existing funds already allocated for school nurses

Effective date of July 1, 2025
