Mandates restaurants serving manufactured-protein food products to disclose this on menus with parenthetical statements like "(Contains Artificial/Cell-Cultured Food Product)" or "(Lab-Grown)" in font size no smaller than the menu item name

Products not meeting labeling requirements are deemed "misbranded" under North Carolina food safety law; menu compliance becomes a condition for food establishment permits

Effective October 1, 2025 for products sold or offered for sale on or after that date; includes severability clause preserving remaining provisions if any section is found unconstitutional
