Schools will receive two separate letter grades (A-F) instead of one combined performance grade: a school achievement grade and a school growth grade

School achievement grades use a scale where 85+ = A, 70+ = B, 55+ = C, 40+ = D, and below 40 = F

School growth grades use the EVAAS system with a different scale where 90+ = A, 80+ = B, 70+ = C, 60+ = D, and below 60 = F

Local school boards must display both achievement and growth grades on their websites and notify parents in writing if either grade is D or F

Effective January 1, 2026, applying to report cards issued based on 2025-2026 school year data
