Grants Caswell County Schools, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, and Orange County Schools authority to align their school calendars with local community college calendars, allowing them to start on the same day as the college or later

Permits these three school districts to administer state assessments before the end of the fall semester if they implement a calendar that concludes the fall semester prior to December 31

Applies exclusively to the three named school districts and takes effect beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Amends G.S. 115C-84.2(d) regarding school opening/closing dates and G.S. 115C-174.12(a)(4) regarding assessment timing
