Exempts emergency medical services personnel from veterinary licensing requirements when providing emergency medical transport or treatment to injured K-9 police dogs or certified search and rescue dogs at emergency scenes

Covers search and rescue dogs certified by any national certification organization that are deployed by or contracted with federal, state, or local agencies

Grants limited immunity from prosecution to EMS personnel who act in good faith when treating these working dogs, but does not protect against gross negligence, wanton conduct, or intentional wrongdoing

Excludes emergency medical dispatchers from the definition of EMS personnel eligible for this exemption

Effective 30 days after becoming law and applies to acts occurring on or after that date
