Expands North Carolina's protected classes to include sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, familial status, military or veteran status, and genetic information across multiple areas of law

Prohibits discrimination based on protected status in housing transactions, real estate lending, land-use decisions, and membership in real estate organizations

Extends employment anti-discrimination protections to employers with one or more employees (reduced from 15) and adds new protected categories for State employees and job applicants

Creates the "Equal Access to Public Accommodations Act" prohibiting discrimination in places of public accommodation, with the NC Human Relations Commission authorized to investigate complaints and pursue enforcement

Applies nondiscrimination requirements to public schools, charter schools, nonpublic schools receiving scholarship grants, community colleges, UNC system, insurance, lending, and jury service, with an effective date of July 1, 2025
