Restores official state recognition to The Tuscarora Indians of Kahtenuaka Territories effective July 1, 2025, acknowledging their historical treaties with North Carolina including the 1712 General Articles of Peace, 1714 Sun and Moon Peace Treaty, and 1717 treaty reserving 56,000 acres in Bertie County

Grants the tribe all rights, privileges, and immunities as an American Indian Tribe with a recognized governing body, including eligibility for federal programs and services provided to Indians

Adds two Tuscarora representatives to the North Carolina State Commission of Indian Affairs, increasing Indian community membership from 21 to 23

Adds one Tuscarora representative to the American Indian Heritage Commission, increasing membership from 12 to 13 members

Initial Tuscarora member on the Heritage Commission serves a two-year term expiring June 30, 2027, with subsequent three-year terms
