Establishes the Educational and Competitive High School Robotics Grant Program to fund after-school robotics education and competition programs that promote STEM careers and build critical life skills

Appropriates $2,500,000 in recurring funds from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to administer the program

Eligible applicants include robotics teams coordinated through public school units or community organizations that partner with approved third-party entities having statewide or national presence in robotics education

Grant funds may be used for robotics kits, parts, supplies, coach stipends, competition fees, league participation payments, and team administration costs

Requires school principals to grant excused absences for students participating in school-sanctioned academic competitions including high school robotics, Science Olympiad, 4-H, and speech and debate
