Establishes a three-year Mental Health Crisis Unit Pilot Program running from the 2025-2026 school year through June 30, 2028, with the State Board of Education selecting up to eight local school administrative units to participate.

Provides $250,000 annually to each participating district to establish and maintain at least one mental health crisis unit that responds to emergencies during school hours and rotates between schools when not deployed.

Requires each crisis unit to include at minimum a school nurse, school social worker, and a school counselor who is a licensed clinical mental health counselor or licensed clinical social worker.

Appropriates $2,000,000 in recurring funds from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

Mandates annual reports to the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee by March 15 assessing the program's impact on student mental health and well-being.
