Bail bonds are valid for up to three years if no forfeiture has been issued; sureties must notify the district attorney 30 days before expiration to be relieved of the obligation

Expands the definition of a defendant's "address of record" to include permanent/temporary addresses, court records, addresses provided to bondsmen, or addresses from anyone with knowledge of the defendant's residence

Allows electronic filing through court case management systems for motions to set aside forfeitures and for serving district attorneys and county board of education attorneys

Requires district attorneys to submit information on defendants who fail to appear in court to the National Crime Information Center within 10 days

Prohibits electronic systems from acting as professional bondsmen, surety bondsmen, or runners; grants licensed bondsmen access to the Administrative Office of the Courts' Odyssey criminal record systems
