North Carolina Attorney General prohibited from participating as a party, amicus, or in any other capacity in litigation in other states that would challenge or invalidate presidential executive orders

Amends existing statute G.S. 114-2.8 (enacted in 2024) that already restricts the AG from challenging state General Assembly statutes in out-of-state courts

Restriction applies only to actions filed in state or federal courts located in other states, not to litigation within North Carolina

Effective immediately upon becoming law and applies to actions filed or commenced on or after that date
