Urges U.S. Congress to work more closely with the United Kingdom on trade issues and foreign investment to encourage increased collaboration between English and American companies

Recognizes the UK as North Carolina's sixth largest export destination with over $2.5 billion in trade and over $1 billion in foreign direct investment since 2014

Acknowledges 218 UK companies employ over 43,200 North Carolinians and that over 24,075 British expatriates currently live or work in the state

References the July 15, 2022 Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Trade Relations signed by Governor Roy Cooper and British Minister for International Trade Penny Mordaunt

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit the resolution to the UK Embassy in Washington D.C., British Consulate General in Atlanta, UK Government Office in Raleigh, North Carolina's Congressional delegation, and the President of the United States
