Prohibits North Carolina criminal justice agencies and sheriff's offices from assisting ICE with immigration arrests or serving removal warrants at places of religious worship, elementary and secondary schools, and hospitals

Protected religious locations include churches, chapels, synagogues, temples, mosques, longhouses, and other buildings regularly used and clearly identifiable for religious worship

Voids any current or future agreements between law enforcement agencies and ICE to the extent they would require assistance at these protected locations

Willful violations by individual officers may result in suspension, revocation, or denial of their law enforcement certification

Does not prevent state and local law enforcement from enforcing North Carolina state laws at these locations
