Requires all new student ID cards for grades 6-12 in North Carolina public schools to display three mental health crisis resources: the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741), and NC Statewide Warmline (1-855-733-7762)

Applies to local public schools, charter schools, regional schools, and UNC laboratory schools, with nonpublic schools encouraged but not mandated to comply

Schools must verify annually that the printed phone numbers remain accurate and update contact information as needed

Does not require schools to issue student IDs if they do not already do so

Takes effect upon becoming law, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year
