Prohibits ranked choice voting in all North Carolina elections, primaries, referendums, and appointments to boards or commissions

Reduces the early voting period by one week, changing the start date from the third Thursday to the second Thursday before an election

Clarifies that election-related activity areas "adjoining" buffer zones are designated spaces where campaigning is permitted but not restricted to those areas

Requires absentee ballot applicants to provide both the last four digits of their social security number AND either a NC driver's license number or special ID card number (previously only one identifier was required)

Replaces the option to use only the last four digits of a social security number for absentee ballot identification with a requirement to provide date of birth
