Hunting and fishing license applicants in North Carolina must be offered a voter registration form and the opportunity to join the Organ Donor Registry

Online license applicants who opt in will receive a voter registration form by mail through coordination between the Wildlife Resources Commission and State Board of Elections

Wildlife Resources Commission must adopt compliance rules after consulting with the State Board of Elections and Division of Motor Vehicles

The act explicitly does not expand or authorize online voter registration

Effective July 1, 2025, applying to all licenses issued under Chapter 113 on or after that date
