Requires persons whose driver's licenses have been revoked to display a special registration plate of a different color on all vehicles they own and operate after license restoration

Special plate requirement lasts 7 years for those with ignition interlock restrictions or 3 years in all other cases

Judges must include the special plate requirement in any limited driving privilege order issued for DWI-related offenses

Employer-owned vehicles are exempt if the person is required to operate the vehicle for work, the employer has been notified of the restriction, and the person carries proof of employer notification

Special plates cost the regular registration fee plus $10, with proceeds credited to the Special Registration Plate Account; violating the restriction results in a 1-year license revocation; effective December 1, 2025
