Creates a legal presumption that force used by school personnel is reasonable in all investigative, administrative, and adversarial proceedings, which can only be overcome by preponderance of evidence showing the force was unreasonable

Prohibits public school governing bodies from retaliating against or dismissing school personnel for using reasonable force to correct students, quell disturbances, obtain weapons, act in self-defense, protect persons or property, or maintain order

Protects school employees from reprimand, dismissal, discipline, or license revocation based on criminal assault allegations if the force was used in accordance with the statute and does not result in conviction or no-contest plea

Prohibits the State Board of Education from revoking or refusing to renew a teacher's license based on the licensee using reasonable force in accordance with the section

Takes effect upon becoming law and applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year
