Allocates $11 million annually from sports betting tax revenue to the Department of Public Instruction for salary supplements for public school athletic coaches

Ensures each eligible athletic coach receives a total annual salary supplement of at least $3,000 combined from State and non-State funds

Eligible coaches must be full-time public school employees who currently receive coaching supplements of $3,000 or less from non-State funds

Requires public school units to maintain their existing non-State funding levels for coaching supplements; units that supplant these funds lose State funding eligibility the following year

Unexpended funds at fiscal year-end go to the North Carolina Alliance of YMCAs, Inc. for youth sports programming; effective July 1, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year
