Excludes government contracts from North Carolina's existing business contract provisions regarding choice of law and forum selection clauses

Adds "government contract" to the list of exclusions in the definition of "business contract" under G.S. 1G-2, alongside consumer contracts and employment contracts

Defines "government contract" as any contract to which the State of North Carolina or a county, municipality, or other public body is a party

Applies to contracts entered into, renewed, or amended on or after the effective date

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
