Allows employees and volunteers at nonpublic schools to carry firearms or stun guns on school property with written authorization from the school board of trustees or administrative director

Requires authorized individuals to hold a valid concealed handgun permit and complete an additional 8 hours of annual gun safety training under a certified NRA instructor or equivalent

Mandates nonpublic schools to adopt written standard operating procedures for weapon possession and distribute copies to parents annually

Permits concealed handgun carry on educational property that serves as both a school and religious worship location during worship services, funerals, weddings, Christenings, and other sacerdotal functions, including ingress/egress to parking areas

Effective December 1, 2025, applying to offenses committed on or after that date
