Doubles most North Carolina Board of Nursing fees, including initial examination applications (from $75 to $150), endorsement applications (from $150 to $300), and two-year license renewals (from $100 to $200) for both registered nurses and licensed practical nurses

Increases reinstatement fees for lapsed licenses from $180 to $280 for both RNs and LPNs

Raises retired nurse status application fees from $50 to $100, and reinstatement from retired status from $100 to $200

Maintains existing 20% cap on year-over-year fee increases and prohibition on fee refunds

Effective October 1, 2025, applying to applications, renewals, and reinstatements submitted on or after that date
