Law enforcement, probation/parole, and correctional officers with an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate or Advanced Corrections Certificate may purchase up to four years of creditable retirement service at full cost

Eligible members must have five or more years of membership service in the Teachers' and State Employees' Retirement System or Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System

Purchases require a lump sum payment to the Annuity Savings Fund equal to the full liability increase to the retirement system plus an administrative fee set by the Board of Trustees

Employers may pay all or part of the service credit purchase cost on behalf of eligible members
