Requires all public schools (including charter, regional, and laboratory schools) to schedule the Pledge of Allegiance within one hour of the beginning of the instructional day, rather than simply "on a daily basis"

Mandates that every regular and special meeting of the State Board of Education begin with recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance

Requires all governing bodies of public school units to begin their meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance, following the manner prescribed in 4 U.S.C. § 4

Preserves existing protections that no person may be compelled to stand, salute the flag, or recite the Pledge of Allegiance

Effective upon becoming law, applying beginning with the 2025-2026 school year
