Commission for Public Health must begin rulemaking by October 15, 2025 to establish maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) for PFAS, PFOA, PFOS, hexavalent chromium, and 1,4-Dioxane in drinking water

MCLs must protect vulnerable populations including pregnant and nursing mothers, infants, and children, and cannot exceed EPA standards or health advisories

Commission must review MCLs from other states and consider establishing limits for any contaminant where at least two other states have set standards

Annual review of peer-reviewed science required, with additional rulemaking as needed to address contaminants posing substantial public health threats

Effective immediately upon becoming law
